Yes. Everyone who wishes to attend Anime Expo must purchase and register an attendee badge under their legal name to participate at the show. Passes come in the form of a "badge" and are available in the following options:
- 4-Day General Attendee - provides access to all 4 days of Anime Expo
- 1-Day Thursday / Friday / Saturday / Sunday - provides access only for the selected day at Anime Expo
- 4-Day Child (age 6-13) - provides access to all 4 days of Anime Expo. Must have a registered adult (18+) in attendance at all times with the child
